5 Inch gauge double bogied L & B style three compartment ground level riding truck.
This riding truck was made by the same engineer as the Wren for sale on this site - Gerry Bullock.
It is another peice of quality from this builder, The body is a really substantial construction and is divided into three compartments which could be utilised for carrying coal, water or batteries etc. There are pin type couplings on both ends with narrow gauge style round centre buffers and all compartments have a fitted seat - with extra padding for the driver!
The truck is in a Lyton and Barnstable style grey livery.
The bogies were also made by the builder and are sprung with full compensation ensuring stability and better track holding. The axles are running in roller bearings. the whole bogies can be removed from their subframes by removal of a split pin.
